History

In July 2006, 12 student bhaktos started weekly stasang in a satsangi's house. More and more student satsangis migrated from India and Kenya. Satsangis celebrated the first Diwali and Ankoot utsav. 

In August 2007, with the agnya of Mahant Swami Sadaguru Shree Dharmanandan Daasji, first ever Bhuj mandir sant mandal led by Purani Shree Laxmanjivandasji Swami visited Adelaide. Since then Bhuj santos have been visiting Adelaide annually. 

In October 2009, Head of Ahmedabad Diocese of Swaminarayan Sampraday His Holiness 1008 Acharya Shree Koshalendra Prasadji Maharaj visited Adelaide for the first time ever to bless bhaktos. Since then, Pujya Maharajshree has been visiting Adelaide every year. 

In October 2011, Adelaide Temple celebrated 5 years of satsang in the presence of H.H Acharya Maharajshree, Bhuj Mandir Mahant Swami Sadaguru Shree Dharmanandan Daasji, Sadaguru Purani Swami Shree Premprakash Daasji, Sadaguru Swami Shree Keshavprasad Daasji and other santo from Bhuj and Ahmedabad. 

In December 2012, with blessgings of Pujya Maharajshree and Mahant Swami, Shree Swaminarayan Temple Adelaide secured a property for temple and the Murti Prathista Mahotsav was held in February 2014.
